Our new tasting room is heated by a very efficient, electric, in-floor heating system.
This provides a very even, comfortable heat throughout the entire tasting room.

We have eliminated the need for hard-to-recycle, excessive six-pack holders.
Our "Number 2" plastic six-pack holders are as easy to recycle as a milk jug!

With every batch of beer we make, we are able to recapture over 75% of the thermal energy of the boil using our heat exchanger.We then only have to heat the water we use for the next day's brew 10 additional degrees instead of 120 degrees!

When our brewer is done brewing a batch of beer, the spent grains are loaded out the back and donated to a local rancher/farmer who uses it as livestock feed!
In exchange, we are sometimes treated to fresh goat milk, fresh garden greens, or the occasional grain-fed pork!

Our tasting room was constructed using many salvaged materials including:
old wood from a demolished garage used for wainscotting.
blown-down pine tree used as the bar top.
reclaimed fence panels used as table tops.
old porch wood used to construct picnic tables.

In perhaps the biggest recycling effort, we were able to recycle the original white, brick building from a derelict eyesore into our current production facility.

Any and all cardboard that the brewery receives is collected and deposited at a local cardboard recycling center.
Unfortunately, glass recycling is not an option in northwest Montana. When glass recycling does become a reality, we will be a collection point for our 12 ounce beer bottles.
